More about Rain Never Stopped Play

It’s hard to miss that lucky number 7… and you might be wondering if Mackenzie was inspired by the great George Best. And the truth is, he was.

“George Best once told me he played football every day, twice on Sundays, and that it wasn’t the rain that stopped play, just everyone else. That kind of passion stays with you. It’s the spark behind this piece, the reminder to play on no matter what.”
— Mackenzie
