Original work by Mackenzie is always in demand by customers both for viewing and to purchase.  New originals are currently only available to purchase from Arthaus here in Richmond and via the Halcyon Gallery in Bruton Street, London.  Mackenzie does not supply new originals to any other gallery in the UK.

On this page you will see a variety of original works, some created a few years ago which have been archived and have only just been released for viewing.  Other work may literally be fresh from the easel and will give you an opportunity to view new images Mackenzie is working on.  Sadly, not all of these images are for sale, the main purpose of this page is to show the vast breadth of Mackenzie's talent, he works on imagery far beyond his published work and this is an opportunity for you to view some of this.  If you are interested in purchasing an original the best way forward is to call Arthaus and arrange a visit to view the original work we do have.

Stunning bold simplicity, a work reminiscent of Georgia O'Keefe meets Lowry (yes really, check out Lake Landscape and A Landmark) the black moon (who else but Mackenzie?) and the homecoming boat combined with the imposing mountains are Mackenzie's unique influences from recent trips to Japan.

Contemporary and challenging this image is one of an ongoing theme of work.  The precise sharpness of the suit contrasts graphically with the turmoil and confusion of the mans personal uproar.

The now classic shepherd and sheep images are Mackenzie's own.  His skill at capturing the at times bleak, rolling landscape of North Yorkshire combines with the reassuring strength and safety of a shepherd guiding his flock, in this stunning example of this genre.

A key icon which has featured in Mackenzies work since the mid 1990's this image symbolises the pure joy and innocence of love.  The child sits surrounded by love which in turn nurtures within that child a glowing heart capable of giving and receiving love.

Mackenzie as a child with his influenes from Saturday morning cinema features here. His playground was the streets surrounding 66 St Pauls Road,  far removed from the wild west by the restrictions of distance only.
